HGS Email Orientation

About HGS Email

A Governor's School email account is not created for students. HGS instructors will communicate with students via email using the student's home high school email address. Instructors may also use Canvas messaging software. Faculty-student communication tools used will be at the discretion of the class instructor. Thus, students should direct questions regarding communication tools used in the class to their instructor.

To contact HGS staff or faculty, please know that HGS email addresses are of the format firstInitialLastName@hgs.k12.va.us.
