HGS Email Orientation

About HGS Email

A Governor's School email account will no longer be created for each student. HGS instructors will communicate with students via email using the student's home high school email address. Instructors may also use Canvas messaging and/or the HGS instance of Ed Discussions software. Faculty-student communication tools used will be at the discretion of the class instructor. Thus, students should direct questions regarding communication tools used in the class to the instructor.

HGS email addresses are of the format username@hgs.k12.va.us.

After reviewing HGS Email orientation video, please return to the Student Orientation Home page and complete all remaining orientation tasks. In addition to completing HGS Email orientation, Step 4, each student must complete
